Even though the Red Foxes lost today, they finished the season with a total of 35 wins. This is the third most in a season in the program’s history. The other two years happened during the senior’s time at Marist, winning 45 games in 2016, and then 37 games in 2017. This makes the senior class one of the most successful for the program thus far.
In the team’s third MAAC championship victory, Tierney was named the Most Outstanding Player of the game. The Red Foxes will advance to the NCAA tournament, where they will play an opponent to be determined in Sunday night’s selection show, which will occur at 9 p.m. on ESPNU.
