Dave Connelly • Editor-in-Chief
Dave is a senior at Marist College majoring in Sports Communication with a minor in Business. He is currently a full-time video editor at SportsGrid as well as captain of the Marist Club Ultimate Frisbee team. He has previously interned for Martinelli Custom Publishing and hopes to find a journalistic position upon graduation.
Bridget Reilly • Deputy Editor-in-Chief
Bridget is a junior from Yardley, Pennsylvania, studying Sports Communication and Journalism. Bridget is also a Marist Ambassador and Tour Guide, the Social Media Chair for the Marist Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, and enjoys spending her weekends competing on the Marist Ski Team.

Nick, a senior, studies Sports Communication. He’s been in love with sports since day one and hopes to eventually find himself in the broadcast booth.
Jonathan Kinane • Managing Editor • Women’s Basketball Beat Writer
Jonathan is a sophomore Communications major with concentrations in Sports Communications and Journalism. He loves the finding new angles and using vivid language in his reporting. He is from Syracuse, New York, and will stand by the fact that Poughkeepsie is not even close to Upstate New York.
Sam DiGiovanni • Associate Editor
Sam is a junior Communications major with concentrations in Sports Communications and Journalism. His ideal future job is being a basketball reporter/writer. He currently writes about basketball for The Knicks Wall and Hoops Habit. All his work can be found at samdigiovanni.home.blog.
Mackenzie Meaney • Assistant Editor
Mackenzie Meaney is a junior at Marist, studying Journalism and Sports Communication with a minor in digital media. She is a member of the club women’s lacrosse team at Marist, and works as event staff for most of the Red Foxes sports games. One day, she plans on working for the National Hockey League, covering the games of her favorite sport.

Kristin is a senior at Marist College pursuing a degree in Communications Advertising with a minor in Graphic Design. Born and raised in New York City, she has a passion for both viewing and creating art. As she studies at Marist, she hopes to bring this creativity into her studies and one day into the workplace.

Sabrina is a senior pursuing a degree in Communication Advertising with a minor in Digital Video Production. She grew up in Maui, Hawaii but loves living in New York. She is very passionate about the environment and hopes to one day work as a video editor.

Connor is a junior at Marist College who is majoring in Communications with concentrations in Journalism and Sports Communications. His favorite teams are the New York Yankees, the Oakland Raiders, and the New York Rangers.He is determined to one day work for one of these teams, or to have his own sports talk show.

Alex is a senior Sports Communication major. Prior to Marist, he covered soccer for his high school newspaper. Slated to travel to Russia for the World Cup, Alex aspires to cover soccer professionally one day.

Mitch is a senior Sports Communication major at Marist College from Ivoryton, Connecticut. His dream job is to have his own sports talk show and do commentating on various sports. Mitch’s role models in the sports broadcasting industry are Chris Collinsworth and Scott Van Pelt. Mitch has teamed up with Center Field staff writer Brett Middleton to produce a weekly NFL Podcast.

Brett is a senior at Marist College majoring in Sports Communication and minoring in Business. He has a passion for sports, as well as telling stories about athletes. Co-host of a weekly football podcast, talking sports is one of his favorite pastimes. In the future he hopes to get a job in the business side of sports.

Allison is a senior at Marist, majoring in Advertising and Math with a minor in Photography. She has additional experience in both photography in writing with The Circle and was the photographer for her high school’s lacrosse and soccer teams.
Leander Schaerlaeckens • Faculty Advisor
Leander Schaerlaeckens is a Professional Lecturer in Sports Communication at Marist and serves as the faculty advisor to Center Field. He’s also the soccer columnist at Yahoo Sports and previously worked at ESPN and FOX Sports. His writing has appeared in the New York Times and ESPN The Magazine and was twice noted in the Best American Sports Writing anthology.
