Marist squared off with Boston University last night in the Red Foxes’ home opener and defeated the Terriers 68 to 57. The McCann center filled up and roared to life for the night despite the snowy weather conditions during of the preceding 24 hours.

The beginning of the Marist-Dunne era began in less than ideal fashion. A four-point loss to the Army Black Knights put an early damper on a young season. It wouldn’t last, though, as the Red Foxes bounced back appropriately.
A new season is on the horizon and after going 6-25 last year and not having a winning season in 10 years, Head Coach John Dunne begins the tough task of changing the culture and identity of the program.
