He accepted an offer from the University of Virginia, fulfilling his dream of competing in the ACC. Now, he’s back.

Marist Men’s Basketball Head Coach Mike Maker will stay on as head coach for next year according to Athletic Director Tim Murray.
In the final seconds of the game, the Red Foxes secured their first win of the season this afternoon in a nail-biter against Binghamton.
Marist sent seniors Obi Momah and Connor McClenaghan home happy with a little help from junior guard Ryan Funk to notch a seventh consecutive senior game win. Funk scored a career-high 24 points and made six of nine from beyond the three-point line.
The Red Foxes showed strength in the first half, frustrating the Air Force Falcons with their zone defense in the second quarter. However, they lost momentum in the second half as they were out shot 23 to 8.
The Marist Baseball team enters the 2018 season wearing the traditional red and white bracelet with this year’s team motto: “One Set of Eyes.” As a unit of one, the team is focused on repeating what they accomplished last year.
Not many people outside of the Northeast have heard of Marist College, and even fewer could tell you anything about its men’s tennis team, including its own student body. And yet, this little-known program has been able to piece together one of the most impressive in-conference records in the NCAA, losing only nine total dual conference matches over the past 20 years.
With a strong start from Funk and sophomore center Tobias Sjoberg, Marist strengthened their lead to 21 with 10:35 remaining in the second half. However, Marist soon lost their rhythm and with every turnover Head Coach Mike Maker saw his team’s winning probability of over 99 percent take a hit.
