Intensity is a word the Marist Men’s Soccer team likes to use to describe their style of play. In the playoffs, everything is taken up a notch, and the Red Foxes were able to elevate their game on Sunday night and defeat Saint Peter’s 1-0 in the MAAC Quarterfinals.
16 games played throughout the season, and it came down to just one to decide if Marist Men’s Soccer would live or die. With Saint Peter’s, Manhattan, and Rider nipping at the heels of the Red Foxes, they needed a win to secure the third seed and guarantee passage to the MAAC tournament.
