After a complete domination of the Stetson Hatters last weekend, Marist (3-2, 3-0) travelled to western Ohio to take on PFL rival , The University of Dayton (3-3, 2-2). The Red Foxes played a clean game. Nothing extremely flashy, but by showing composure and taking advantage of the Flyers’ mistakes, they were able to come out on top 20-17.
The Marist Red Foxes (2-2, 2-0) hosted the Stetson University Hatters (2-3, 0-2) for their first home game against a Pioneer Football League opponent. The Foxes put their foot on the gas and never let up, cruising to a 34-3 win over the Hatters.
Marist (0-2) packed Tenney Stadium like never before to watch the Red Foxes take on the Bryant Bulldogs (2-2) on the second night of the college’s Family Weekend. The Foxes played their 2021 home opener in front of 6,154 fans, the most ever in the stadium’s 15-year history. Yet, they couldn’t make the home-field advantage count, losing 34-17.
As Marist football opens its season against Bryant, the Red Foxes’ high energy and togetherness is on full display.
