Men’s Basketball: Redshirt junior forward Aleksandar Dozic led the Red Foxes in scoring with 17 points and six assists. Dozic also pulled in five rebounds which tied for the team lead in the victorious effort for Marist over Canisius last Monday.
Women’s Basketball: Junior guard Rebekah Hand racked up 21 points and ten rebounds in the Red Foxes’ winning effort over Manhattan on Thursday. Hand also added an assist to her third double-double of the season.
Women’s Tennis: The sophomore tag team of Julia Gabay and Sam Galu dominated the top doubles spot in the Red Foxes matchup against Colgate on Saturday. The team managed to win without dropping a single game which helped sparked Marist’s first win of 2019.
Women’s Water Polo: Sophomore goalie Carsen Horvatich was a brick wall in Marist’s victory over the perennial powerhouse, Santa Clara, last Saturday. Horvatich sent away ten shots and pulled in a couple of steals in the win for the nationally ranked Red Foxes. She racked up an unbelievable 27 saves over the entire weekend.
