Center Stage: The Week’s Top Performers

Women’s Water Polo: Senior Grace Doerfler had a huge weekend for the Red Foxes scoring an impressive 11 goals and five draw exclusions. The senior’s best performance came against Villanova where she scored six goals on only six shots.

Men’s Track: The relay team of Brian Henderson, James Moehringer, Drew Burns and Christopher Tibbetts ran a time of 7:40.68 to win the 4×800 meter relay at the Bison Outdoor Classic last weekend. The season-best performance was good enough to qualify them for the outdoor IC4A Championships as well.

Baseball: Senior pitcher Tony Romanelli threw for seven innings against Canisius last Saturday and only allowed one earned run to go along with seven strikeouts. Romanelli got the win and only allowed six hits and two walks in the victorious performance.

Women’s Lacrosse: Senior Hailey Wagner had an unbelievable 23 draw controls against Niagara last Wednesday to break her own single-season record with 164 total controls. It was also the most in the NCAA this year and the second most ever in a single game. She casually added a hat-trick to go along with the record breaking performance too.
