Men’s Track: Senior Andrew Burns ran the number two time in Marist program history in the 800 meter event at the Bryan Clay invitational. His time of 1:51.64 won his heat and currently leads the entire MAAC.
Women’s Softball: Freshman pitcher Calista Phippen tossed two complete game victories last week for the Red Foxes. Throughout the two games, she only allowed eight hits, two runs, and two walks while she struck out 14 batters. She has now racked up 15 wins on the year.
Men’s Baseball: Senior infielder Randy Taveras had a big week for the Red Foxes as he drove in five RBIs and scored himself three times. He managed with a couple of doubles and a sacrifice fly in a successful week for Marist baseball that resulted in three wins.
Women’s Lacrosse: Seniors Samantha Mehalick and Hailey Wagner both reached career milestones and racked up six points each in Marist’s win over Iona on Saturday. Mehalik scored three goals and assisted on three others while becoming Marist’s all-time leading scorer. Wagner scored four goals, including her 100th career goal, to go along with a couple of assists and 12 draw controls.
