“Today meant a lot to us, especially to our returners, to have this win,” Wilkinson said. “I think this was a great game for us as an example of what we are capable of doing. It was really special for our seniors and I believe it’s the first time we have beat them in the last four years.”

Both Marist and Cornell came in motivated for the win, Monday afternoon, Cornell was able ultimately able to top Marist in a 18-12 game.
In a close, back-and-forth game, Marist was able to top LaSalle and a 12-11 home victory. Several aggressive and smart moves by both teams were major keys to each team’s offensive and defensive success.

After winning MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year, along with several player of the week awards, Marist Women’s Lacrosse goalkeeper Delaney Galvin is now focusing on her mentality in order to generate another successful season with the Red Foxes.
